Several years ago, Hickory Cove Bible Camp introduced a new logo. You can see it in the top right-hand corner of our website. Its easy-to-read style and colors reflect our commitment to provide a top quality spiritual camping experience for today's youth.
Here are some of the things you'll notice in our logo:
The first words you see, "Hickory Cove," describe our location — a beautiful, secluded cove on the north side of Lake Hickory, halfway between Hickory and Taylorsville, North Carolina.
"Bible Camp" is the foundation phrase for "Hickory Cove." Our purpose is to preach and teach the Word of God. That's why the tail of the "y" in "Hickory" points to the word "Bible." We are a Bible camp, not just another youth camp.
The flame that dots the "I" in "Hickory," like the campfire experience on the last night of camp, is an accent, because our accent is on helping campers to know and grow in the Lord Jesus Christ-to be "on fire" for Him.
The stream of clear water running through the entire logo is part of both the physical and spiritual character of Hickory Cove Bible Camp. The water of Lake Hickory flows gently past the Camp day and night without ceasing. Likewise, the water of the Word of God flows through us every day at Camp, and hopefully every day of our lives.
