Rick Stewart Memorial Fund
As a child, Rick Stewart (born February 24, 1971) was diagnosed with Cystic Fibrosis and was not expected to reach five years of age. But the Lord had other plans for Rick’s life. After attending Hickory Cove as a child in the 1980s, he reconnected with Camp several years later and went on to serve as a summer staff member during 2009-2010 and remained at Camp full-time following the summer of 2010.
Toward the beginning of 2013, Rick’s health began to decline steadily and on April 10, 2013, surrounded by family and friends, Rick peacefully left this world to meet the Lord. Rick’s testimony is one of God’s faithfulness and what it means to trust in God.
If you would like to give to the Rick Stewart Memorial Fund, your donations will be used toward scholarships* to help send underprivileged children to Hickory Cove Bible Camp.
*In the event in which scholarship needs have already been met, donations to the Rick Stewart Memorial Fund will be used where deemed most appropriate in other Hickory Cove ministry areas.
