Lumberjack Weekend 2020: Why Prayer Doesn’t Work

LUMBERJACK WEEKEND 2020
“Why Prayer Doesn’t Work”
Scott Torres, Harvest Community Church

What comes to your mind when you hear the word “prayer”?

How would you define or describe it?

Does it often feel like it doesn’t even work?

Well, it’s been said that “prayer is communion with God that leads to the advancement of His kingdom”. In our devotional times together, we will explore this great gift that God has given the church.

So be prepared for anything… especially learning more about what the Bible says about how prayer works and how to make it work!

Bonus Workshop Session: “Leading Family Devotions”

Dads, do you struggle leading family devotions? Do you desire one day for your children to lead their own children in family devotions?

During this session just for fathers, we will take a few minutes to pause and learn more about leading and equipping our family members to do this.
